Staring at the Sea

Outfit Rundown:
Hoodie - nvrmnd
Shorts - Forever 21
Boots - Ebay

This is June beach wear on the Oregon coast! XD This outfit is from the second day of my beach trip with my boyfriend, Ariel, and her boyfriend. Boots really are about the only good option for the coast here right now. They are warm AND keep out all the sand. Its so cold right now even with a sweatshirt and two shirts under it I was still freezing though! Maybe by mid-July it will heat up enough here so I can share an actual beachy beach look with you guys :P

Here is a bonus picture of me, my boyfriend Matt, Ariel and her boyfriend Chris. As I said before you can tell its quite cold at the beach still but the trip was loads of fun anyway. We wandered around the beach at night and sat around random peoples fires (and subsequently watched a very intoxicated person jump off of a life guard tower), got tons of horrible for you deep fried food, got taffy, rode the Tilt-A-Whirl, and watched Pokemon in our hotel room at 3am! Overall, a very good stay in my book!

For the Thrill of It

Outfit Rundown:
Dress - Drop Dead Clothing
Leggings - Romwe
Boots - Dr.Martens

For Memorial Day weekend my boyfriend, Ariel, her boyfriend and I went to the beach! This is the outfit I wore the day we got there. These pictures were actually taken right in the back of the motel we stayed at! Was it slightly ghetto? Maybe. But it made up for it by having Pokemon to check out for free on VHS!

I really love this dress from Drop Dead! I can never get over how cool the graphic on it is. Also my Dr.Martens will forever be my favorite outdoorsy shoes. I wore them in the sand and kicking around in the ocean and didn't get a grain of sand or a drop of water in them.

Sympathy for the Devil

Outfit Rundown:
Tank top - Actual Pain
Button up - Romwe
Shorts - Forever 21
Creepers - T.U.K.
Coffin Bracelet & Eyeball Ring - Kreepsville 666

Sorry for being lazy with updating recently! I have been quite busy with school and personal things lately. However, the other day Ariel and I got to play around in the photography studio at our college! I don't think I have had photos of myself taken in a studio ever outside of for school and as a very, very, very small child. Its sort of strange having absolutely nothing around you while taking photos and it certainly doesn't help my extreme awkwardness in front of cameras!

Anyway, this outfit is pretty simple. I reallllly love my shorts though. I've been wearing those constantly. They are so perfect with basically everything I own (I know black shorts aren't that exciting, but it has been several years since I've had a pair so they are exciting to me lol!). I'm also wearing one of my several Actual Pain tanks. The slimey moon is pretty rad. I am definitely a fan of the drippy/slime stuff I've been seeing lately, nvrmnd has a really neat line of slime clothing that my boyfriend just bought a few items from. I think his shirts will have to be "borrowed" once he gets them.

Boy Scout

Outfit Rundown:
Top - Romwe
Shorts - Forever 21
Boots - Dr.Martens

This top from Romwe is so adorable! I have a strange love for tops/dresses with sailor type collars and for school uniforms, so I was ecstatic when I got this. My weird fondness for sailor and school girl outfits probably comes from being majorly obsessed with anime since childhood (the obsession isn't as bad now, I promise XD).

I always wanted to be Sailor Moon, or be like my favorite characters from other animes I excitedly watched over and over. More frequently than not those characters wore sailor school uniforms (as pictured above). Bodyline has a bunch of really cheap ones, as do other places online, that are always oh so overly tempting to me. I've already got a sailor dress, a school girl baggy sweater with undershirt and now this top but I still can't help but feel like I need more. Its amazing how influencing nostalgia can be on fashion sometimes.

In the Gardens

This is my first lolita post on this blog! I have been into the fashion since high school and started wearing it shortly after I started my first year of college. I only have a fairly modest/basic wardrobe and I don't wear it too often but I really enjoy lolita fashion!

If you have any questions or are unfamiliar with the fashion this page, the lolita handbook, says everything far better than I ever could.

Anyways, the Portland lolitas recently had a meet-up at the Japanese Gardens and Rose Gardens in Portland! It was super hot that day, around 85 all day, which is a horrible temperature to try to wear lolita with all its layers in! Either way the meet-up was still enjoyable, however it didn't last very long due to the temperature.

My outfit shots were taken in the Rose Gardens, but the roses aren't in bloom yet so we took them under this pretty tree. I bet its surprising to see me in something so pink and girly isn't it?! I usually prefer wearing classic, gothic or punk lolita but I break out my sweet lolita every once in a while!

We Are Nowhere and It's Now

Outfit Rundown:
Dress - Urban Outfitters
Button Up - Romwe
Shoes - An*Tai*Na
Cross Bracelet - Gift from Victoria

My mom got me tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil's show OVO with her and her boyfriend last week and this is what I wore to see it! It was my third time to Cirque in the past few years, and while it wasn't my favorite show it was still very good. However, I nearly missed the show! My mom had gotten me directions to its new location from the official website and part of the directions said take exit 306. It forgot to specify if you were supposed to take 306 A or 306 B! I, of course, took the wrong exit and had to drive around in circles for a while until I finally found the venue. By the time I got in and seated the show was just starting! This is exactly why I really need a GPS XD
Anyway, on to the outfit! I recently received this button up from Romwe and I absolutely adore it. It goes with EVERYTHING, which is great because I have virtually no coats/jackets/long sleeve clothes. I have been wearing it almost every day since it is still cold and rainy in Oregon so expect to see a lot more of it in upcoming looks!
