Rocket Dive

Outfit Rundown:
Shirt - Urban Outfitters
Skirt - H&M
Boots - Demonia
Bracelet & Necklace - Kreepsville 666

I am so excited I finally got to wear my new boots in some photos! They are the ones I recently found at Buffalo Exchange (a thrift store chain). Normally I never would have bought boots in white but having them be second hand price made me take a chance, and boy am I glad I did. Having them is sort of inspiring me to try to work more color and variety into my wardrobe.
Cyber goth and club/fetish wear has also had a big influence on me lately (I've always liked it, just never tried to actually wear it), and I want to start attempting to work it into some of my everyday outfits while still being fairly casual (well, casual by MY definition :P).

Every Dog Has Its Day

Outfit Rundown:
Top - From a Flogging Molly concert
Skirt - Tripp NYC
Socks - Sock Dreams
Belt - Black Peace Now
Bag - Handmade
Necklace - Sourpuss
Bracelet - Kreepsville 666

I wore this outfit down to Portland the other day to make a tattoo appointment with Ariel. My Flogging Molly shirt was altered a while ago and I love it, the shirt is actually something I want to wear now. I have tons of band t shirts sitting around in my closet that could really stand to be cut up as well so I will actually wear them! It is kind of nerve racking to cut up and potentially ruin a shirt I spent $20 on though, so I've been too afraid to do it to more than this one and a Gogol Bordello shirt.

The Point Of It All

Outfit Rundown: Top - Urban Outfitters
Skirt - H&M
Boots - Ebay

This is a casual outfit I wore to school recently. I have been wearing that H&M skirt all the time. I am -so- glad I bought it. I saw the same style skirt in black when I was at H&M the other day, I am very tempted to go back and buy it so I can sew some patches on it and alter it slightly.

On a side note, my title is from this song by Amanda Palmer. The CD this song is off of, "Who Killed Amanda Palmer", is in my top 5 all time favorite CDs. I have been listening to this and "Astronaut" on loop all night tonight. I think I am kind of just rambling now. I need to go to bed and turn my brain off for a while.

Outfit Rundown:
Dress - Second Hand
Shoes - An*Tai*Na
Accessories - Ebay

I had a chance to wear my new velvet dress I found at the thrift store the other day! I absolutely love it. It is very similar to the really cute ones on Romwe I have been lusting after!
The area Ariel and I went to for photos this day was actually right next door to a Fantasy Video. I have driven right past it numerous times and never really noticed it. She has such a good eye for interesting places to take photos.

Horror Business

Outfit Rundown:
Dress - H&M
Sweatshirt - Ebay
Creepers - Secondhand

I wore this out shopping on Hawthorne the other day with my friend Victoria ! I don't have too many shots or anything because her camera was dying so we snapped our pictures very quickly.

We had such a successful day of shopping. We walked into Buffalo Exchange and the first thing I saw was a pair of Demonia white patchwork platform boots! They were $34. I have been admiring them since I first saw them back in high school, but I never wanted to pay full price for them so finding them used worked out perfectly. I want to wear them to EDC this year but they are 7" platforms so I am trying to figure out how to not kill myself walking around on bumpy grass in them.
At Buffalo Exchange I also scooped up a beautiful black velvet long sleeved knee length dress for $9! I have been admiring the ones on Romwe for a while but haven't had the money for them. Then over at Naked City I also purchased a new wallet and a high waisted leopard print skirt, both of which were also on sale. That will be, unfortunately, my last shopping spree day until June because I need to start saving up money for EDC and Vegas!

Skulls and Flowers

Outfit Rundown
Top - H&M
Leggings - Romwe
Boots - Demonia - Purchased at Metro
Skull Bracelet - Target

My outfit from the other day. I bought that shirt a while ago but haven't been able to find anything I really really like wearing with it until this attempt. I swear those leggings go with EVERYTHING. They were such a good purchase!

Also, that shirt is totally awesome and has the coolest fabric. I also adore the cut out part from the back. It was one of those purchases that isn't the most flattering (it hangs kinda weird if you look at it from the side) but I liked it so much I had to buy it anyway. Do you guys ever make purchases like that? Where the item is so cool you have to have it anyway even if it doesn't look the best on you?

A Story at Three

Outfit Rundown: Shirt - Actual Pain
Leggings - Romwe
Shoes - Doc Martens
Bag - Handmade

My outfit from a few days ago. I love Actual Pains baggy tank tops! They're so comfy and easy to coordinate. I have this one, their "Pentangled" tank and the "Sympathy for the Devil" tank and I love them all!

I also was wearing my white Docs for once. I've had them for years but hardly ever wear them because they don't have a zipper so it takes forever to put them on and off and I am too lazy for that. Its such a shame though because they are so cute.

Rip Out the Wings of A Butterfly

I wore this out with Ariel and Ashlee the other day. Lately I have been trying to go through my wardrobe and wear things I don't wear often or haven't worn in a long time and this shirt would be one of those things! Its a lovely shirt and I really should wear it more often, but I have a hard time finding things to wear with it. I think this outfit worked out okay, but is a bit boring. Next time I wear that shirt I need to find someway to make the outfit more interesting.

Outfit Rundown: Top - Urban Outfitters
Skirt - American Apparel
Tights - Ebay
Shoes - T.U.K. - Second Hand
